Does the hygroscopic starch interfere with water-sensitive active substances?

No. The starch is bound within the sphere matrix and does not release moisture to water-sensitive APIs under standard storage and processing conditions.

Are customized particle size distributions (PSD) available?

Yes. Besides the standard size range from 100 µm to 2 mm, tailor-made and reproducible particle size distributions can be produced on request (higher minimum order quantities may apply).

Are the sugar spheres suitable for regulatory drug applications worldwide?

Yes. The spheres comply with Ph.Eur. and USP/NF, are produced under ISO 9001 and IPEC GMP standards, and an FDA Drug Master File (DMF) is available to support global registrations.
